Aberystwyth Crematorium serves the local community including Mid & West Wales. Aberystwyth Crematorium is privately owned and together with coordinators of Ceredigion Council the unique scheme to establish this crematorium was recognised as a great need for this service in the area. They received support from all health authorities and local councils in the area while Meirionydd and Montgomery District Councils joined them. Aberystwyth Crematorium was subsequently built and opened in May 1994.

Aberystwyth Crematorium includes many characteristic local elements, with stones from historic buildings in the town and a design that respects Welsh traditions.

We are dedicated to serving the bereaved in an atmosphere that is caring and professional. It was built to meet the needs of mourners from all backgrounds. We are non-sectarian which simply means we serve everyone, regardless of religious beliefs.
